What does it mean to be a WILD BC School

As a W.I.L.D BC school KIS engages in environmental teaching and learning and experiences focused on B.C.'s biodiversity. Through place based inquiry learning our students learn through a process of Wondering, Inquiring, Learning and Doing. This year’s theme is Project Wet focusing on local water and water shed. Our grade 4&5 class spent their W.I.L.D Wednesday at Eimer’s Lake in the local Nature Park learning more about biodiversity.
