Imagination is essential to a child’s development. The ability to form new ideas, images or concepts without needing to see or sense something embraces a child’s ability for creativity and resourcefulness. Imaginative play is also important because it enables social and emotional development. KIS Kindergarten students spent time at their fairy gardens in the forest using their imaginations and experiencing the magic of learning in an outdoor setting.
